Description	December 10, 1909 Paddock writes about receiving letters in Shanghai, the death of her Uncle, that she will be sending her family photographs of the house that she and the other YWCA volunteers are living in, about the first snow fall, and the person who cleans and cooks for the volunteers. April 9, 1911 Paddock writes that she and Miss Smith took ten days of rest and writes about the rainy weather season. Paddock explains that Mrs. McDonnell, the wife of the bishop, invited young Chinese women who have been educated abroad to an event. Paddock writes about the demonstration in Shanghai where several hundred men had their hair cut publicly and that she will be traveling to Peking. April 2, 1910 Paddock writes this letter to her family from Shanghai, China. In this letter she explains that the school children sang Mid Summer Nights Dream in English and wore beautiful silk robes. Paddock writes about having tea with other YWCA workers, and speaks about some of the volunteers with her. June 4, 1921 Paddock writes about a large group of sick people that are being tended to by the YWCA workers. Paddock speaks about a man who passed away from cancer and was buried in 1897, in New York City. Paddock is writing this letter to her niece or nephew from Saratoga Springs.
