based
on a
map
of the
chicle
camps
and
trails
of the
P.W
.
Shufeldt
Company
(work
of
Captain
Frank
Vans
Anew
and
Didier
Masson)
with
latitude
and
longitidue
of the
ruins
by the
Carnegie
Institution
.
All
permanent
sites
in the
Peten
region
as
well
as
some
temporary
sites
are
included.
"
Oliver
Ricketson
was an
archaeologist
affiliated
with the
Carnegie
Institution
of
Washington
who
made
several
expeditions
to this
area
doing
research
on the
Maya
(Wright
1952)
