Photographer's Note	January 15, 1938. Ngorongoro crater, Tanganyika: A panoramic group of six pictures taken from a position over the eastern rim, slightly south of center. Pictures 7 and 8 overlap. Pictures 8 and 9 do not quite join, but they can be pieced together by following the outlines of the hill and the horizon. Nos. 9 and 10 also fail to meet, but again matching can be done by noting the width of line between the rim outline and the horizon. The gap here is nearly an inch, whereas the gap between 8 and 9 is only about 3/8 of an inch. Pictures 10, 11, and 12 overlap. The total angle of view is about 180 degrees and most, if not all, of the peaks surrounding the crater are seen. Lake Eyasa appears behind Mt. Oldeani in No. 12. c. 9000 feet. c. 10:45.
