Mexico Lecture 2 is a compilation of films made by Sorensen for his lectures. This lecture film shows the livelihood of many people living across Mexico. We are first introduced to people who live near freshwater and make their own nets for fishing daily. Following this are farmers harvesting grains and sugarcane. A look at market places where shaved ice, bananas, sombreros, and fabrics are sold shows local produce and crafts. Other handicrafts that can be seen are hand painted decorative trays, basket weaving, silver platter making, and handmade wooden tops. There are also a few cathedrals from Mexico City and Valladolid that can be seen like the Catedral de San Gervasio and the Basilica of our Lady Guadalupe.
