Photographer's Note	Saigon, Vietnam. Cao Dai. Primary education is compulsory -- and free -- for all youngsters in the Cao Dai areas. This is unique amongst the peoples of Asia. There are 3,000 students in the Dao Duc School in Tayninh [Tay Ninh], the Holy City, seat of the Cao Dai Church. This portrait of Confucius is enshrined in the school -- the ancient Chinese scholar is their patron saint of knowledge.
