Form [Forman]: Indo-China's Caodaist Anti-Communist Posters. Caodaists, the followers of a new religion, Caodaism, started some 25 years ago in Vietnam (Indo-China), that claims to be a synthesis of the world's major religions, are bitterly anti-Communist. Their main city is the Holy City of Tayninh [Tây Ninh], about 60 miles from Saigon [Ho Chi Minh City], the capital of Indo-China. They have a religious army with a large propaganda department. Some posters which are graphic enough for an illiterate peasant to understand. They are printed in large numbers in their own printing plant and are distributed throughout Indo-China. The photos show a series of these anti-Communists posters. Poster appealing to priests to shed their robes and don the soldier's uniform for the fight against Communists.
