Description	View of Marquette College, Jesuit liberal arts school, founded in 1881. The building housed both Marquette College and Marquette Academy (high school). In 1907 Marquette College moved to Johnston Hall on Wisconsin Avenue and became Marquette University. Marquette Academy (the name was changed to Marquette University High School in 1922) remained in the building until 1925.
