Description	The Goodrich company was established in 1856 by Capt. A. E. Goodrich. The sidewheel, wood hulled steamboat Muskegon was built in 1871 by G.S. Rand Co. in Manitowoc Wisconsin. In 1896 the boat fell off her blocks in drydock and was damaged beyond repair.
