Artist Bio	Changmin Lin, was also known as Mengzong (courtesy name) and Hut Owner of Double-Chinese Juniper (pseudonym). Lin was a renowned politician, diplomat, calligrapher, poet, and writer. He graduated from Waseda University in Japan, specializing in politics and law. After his return to China in 1909, Lin helped draft a national constitution. Later, he served as a senator on the State Council of the Chinese Republic and supported the May Fourth Movement in 1919 (an anti-imperialist movement). Lin's daughter (Huiyin Lin) was the first female architect in China and his granddaughter, Ying Lin (a niece of Huiyin Lin), also a well-known architect, is recognized for her work on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.
作者生平	林長民，字宗孟，號苣芩子、雙栝廬主人。福建人。林長民曾於東京早稻田大學攻讀政治及法律，為民初著名的政治家、外交家、書法家。於日本回國後，參與制訂臨時約法。曾擔任第一屆眾議院議員、法制局局長等職，並支持五四運動。有女林徽因，女婿梁思成皆為中國著名建築師。孫女林瓔(林徽因姪女) 為美國傑出建築師，曾設計華盛頓區越戰紀念碑。

Main Text	1) The rivers reflect red leaves edged with frost. I incidentally picked up a chrysanthemum while feeling melancholic. I think it is time to get drunk so I can meet her in my dream and enjoy being with her at the day of Double Ninth Festival. 2) It has been seven years since the last time I stopped by Maple Bridge and visited Hanshan Temple. Tolls of a midnight bell still reach my boat like before. I told myself not to romanticize the night and sigh for grief. A long trip that needs to cross thousands of mountains and rivers is still there before reaching the Bashan Mount.
釋文	1) 照江紅葉一林霜，折得黃花更斷腸；商略此時須痛飲，細腰宮畔過重陽。2) 七年不到楓橋寺，客枕依然半夜鐘；風月未須輕感慨，巴山此去尚千重。
Other Text	Postscript: Changmin wrote down Fangweng Lu's (You Lu, 1125-1210) two poems in February, 1924.
