Shanch'I Aisin-Gioro, known as Aitang (courtesy name), was the last Su Prince (the first Su Prince, Hooge (1609-1648), is the eldest son of the first Qing emperor) and the head of eight eupatrid-families. Serving as the minister of Civic Affair and other important positions in the imperial court, he was one of supporters of the constitutional movement (1907-1911) and one of founders of a police system. After the establishment of Republic China in 1912, Aisin-Gioro tried to restore the last emperor by every possible means. He sent his fourteenth daughter, Xianyu Aisin Gioro , to receive military training in Japan. At her age of eight, Xianyu Aisin Gioro was adopted by Naniwa Kawashima, a Japanese espionage agent. She was renamed as Yoshiko Kawashima and began her espionage career in her age of 20s. A major goal of her works is to establish Manchukuo (a puppet state governed by Puyi ( the last emperor of China, 1906-1967)). The story of Yoshiko Kawashima has been played in several movies such as "The Last Emperor".
