Shifen Jiang, born in Hebei, China, was a renowned calligrapher in the late Qing dynasty. Jiang was an imperial scholar in 1877 and later served as the Liangguang salt administrator. Jiang specialized in calligraphy. His style is recognized as innovative and usually compared with those of Tang and Jin calligraphers.
