Di Tang, known as Dingzhi (courtesy name) and Lesun (pseudonym), was born in Jiangsu, China. Tang excels at painting and likes to draw Chinese plums, orchids, bamboos, pines and cypresses in his studio, Bai Du Room. In China, Tang is recognized as one of the most important painters in Beijin in the beginning of the 20th century.
