'There are over 15,000,000 Hui-Hui (Moslems) in China today most of whom are descendant of migrations of Turks, Arabs, and Central Asian peoples. In keeping with the Mohammedan customs of their cousins in the Levant, the women of China's Moslemia also wear a veil. It is modified for practical purposes with an oval cutout for the face.'
