It is my sincere belief\nthat the dialogue we established at the meeting will be the\nspringboard for welding a real and lasting united between the non-whites \nand the whites of our community.\nThere already is evidence that our meeting was fruitful.\nSeveral of the proposals we discussed were incorporated\ninto the program of action adopted jointly the following day by\nthe leadership of the Inter-Denominational Ministerial Alliance\nand myself.\nAs you recall, we discussed the idea of youth working\nmore closely with the members of the Police Department.
